PLEASE NOTE, THIS KEY WILL NOT WORK WITH RASPBERRY PI 4 OR RASPBERRY PI 5 - RASPBERRY PI 4 AND RASPBERRY PI 5 DO NOT HAVE MPEG-2 HARDWARE DECODE
This key will enable a single Raspberry Pi (excluding Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi 5) to decode MPEG-2 video in hardware. You will need to provide your device's internal 16-digit serial number as part of your order. Your serial number is not the number printed on your board.
To find your serial number using Raspberry Pi OS, run the following command at the command line:
$ cat /proc/device-tree/serial-number
Your license key will be delivered to you by email within 72 hours of ordering.
